A beautiful prophylactic game by the "Tiger" for which
he was undeniably famous for with a deadly sting of tactics
at the end. Indeed GM Quinteros did well to mix it up but
Petrosian had an answer for everything. Note the use of his
39. Kg3 just defending the "f pawn" before the onslaught
continued. Note: The Time Control used that year in LP
was 45 moves in two and 1/2 hours.

Both original scoresheets are in very good shape (they
remained boxed & fully protected for over twenty-seven
years). The scoresheets are signed by both players on
each scoresheet (matched set). Suitable for framing... :-)
