This the second book in the Vampire Chronicle series
(sequel to the "Interview With The Vampire"). Another
first edition Knopf (New York 1985) hardbound (bound
in quarter white cloth with white paper boards with both
the title on the spine and her initials "AR" on the front
cover stamped in gilt), featuring the Vampire Lestat.
This book I would rate in fine condition. The dust jacket
has only a few minor small tears (less than 1/16 of an inch)
of which two are located at the top spine center and one at
the bottom of spine center. Hence, I can safely rate it as in
near fine condition with only minimal edging fray. It's fully
intact with the original price present (it was not clipped).
Folio size is: 6 & 3/4 x 9 & 1/2 inches tall, 481 pages (plus
an announcement of the forthcoming book in the Vampire
Chronicles and Notes on the Type). I've added the scan
which clearly shows all of the Catalog & ISBN numbers &
also "First Edition." This beautiful book was purchased
as used sometime ago. The bookseller made small pencil
notes on the flyleaf noting the date (month/day/year), the
price that it was being sold for at the time and, of course,
"signed."

A wonderful find. This book was purchased new through a
special book club offer which included this book signed by the
husband and wife team of Stanford Professors: Paul and Anne
Ehrlich. Another First Edition published by Random House (New
York 1981) hardbound edition (bound in quarter black cloth with
brown paper boards with the title on the spine stamped in gilt).
This book I would rate in very fine condition. The dust jacket
is also in excellent condition. It's fully intact with the original
price present. Folio size is: 6 & 1/4 x 9 & 1/2 inches tall, 305
pages with full Index (plus the standard -- About the Authors).
